Dr. Paul A. Feuerstein

Dr. Paul A. Feuerstein opened his dental office in Columbia in 1973. He attended Harpur College in Binghamton NY and received his D.D.S. degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1968.

Following graduation, he immediately reported to Ft. Jackson as a dental officer where he received specialty training in prosthetics and oral surgery. He put this special training to use during a tour of duty in Vietnam where he earned and received the Bronze Star Medal for distinguished service.

Dr. Feuerstein has taken numerous post graduate classes and is an active member of the prestigious South Carolina Academy of Advanced Implant Studies. His hobbies include golf, tennis and watching USC Gamecock sports. He is married to Tonja Jewell, has 3 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 cats.

Dr. Kyle M. Garlitz

Dr. Kyle M. Garlitz grew up in Hickory NC. He is the middle of 5 children. After Dr. Garlitz graduated from Hickory High School, he graduated in 1992 from Notre Dame with a BS in Pre- Professional Studies. He attended dental school in North Carolina at UNC -Chapel Hill and graduated in 1996.

Dr. Garlitz has been in private practice in Gastonia, NC and now resides in Northeast Columbia, SC. He is a provider of all cosmetic, implant and restoration treatments.

Dr. Garlitz is a member of ADA, NC Dental Society, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (Fellow) with over 200 hours of continuing education performed within the past 3 year. He enjoys golf, basketball, the beach and everything outdoors. Dr. Garlitz and his wife Libby (Spring Valley graduate) have a 4 month old son, Jack.

Lorraine “Lucy” Szala

Lorraine Margaret-Bruno Szala, “Lucy” was born in New York City and grew up in the Bronx, Long Island, New York. She came to Columbia in 1977 and completed her Dental Hygiene Associate Degree at Midlands Technical College. Lucy has her BHS in healthcare from Medical University Of SC (MUSC) and has been a provider in a detailed profession for more than 40 years. She is a full time dental hygienist for Creative Smiles and has worked for Dr. Feuerstein for many years. Lucy has been trained in the administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She has been married for 38 years, has 2 children and has 3 dachshunds.

Pat Sullivan, RDH/MA

Pat has been in the dental field for about 35 years. Beginning with her service in the United States Navy assigned to the Oral and Maxiofacial Department at Bethesda Naval Regional Medical Center. This is followed by her dental hygiene schooling at Midlands Technical College. She then received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s degree from Webster University. Pat was the dental hygiene representative to the South Carolina State Dental Board, and is on the Aphaeresis committee for the local Red Cross chapter, a board member for the local Ronald McDonald House, on the board for the local Rolling Readers organization and co-chairs DHEC’s Older Adult committee for the South Carolina Oral Health Task Force. Also, she has written articles on dental health and its influence on total body health, made presentations to elementary and middle school children and spoke at career-day programs.
Her favorite things to do are: traveling, reading, walking and doing her crewel work. She also encourages others on the importance of good dental health.

Carol Reardon

Carol Reardon is a licensed Dental Hygienist. She has been in dentistry since 1971 and has been employed by Dr. Feuerstein since August 1995. Carol has managed the practice since June 2000. With her experience in both the dental professional and management sides of the office, she strives to provide the best possible dental care for the patients.

Allison Motley

Allison Motley is a dental assistant with Creative Smiles. She has been in the medical and dental field for 20+ years. She is the proud mother of 2 teenage children and a very mischievous miniature dachshund. Allison provides quality patient care and helps patients achieve a better smile and oral health.

Sabine White

Sabine White is a dental assistant for Creative Smiles. She was born and raised in Germany and moved to the US when she met her husband. Together they traveled a lot with the military. They have 3 children 21, 18 and 12 years old. Sabine and her family have made their home in Columbia. She has been in the dental field for 10 years and enjoys making patients her top priority.
